Nathan and Tanya Harrod
The Lord began speaking to Nathan Harrod about missions when he was sixteen years old. In September 2006, AIMers Nathan Harrod and his wife, Tanya, the daughter of missionaries Howard and Vonda Smith, received their missionary appointment to Spain. Prior to their appointment, they had been serving as furlough replacements for the Howard Smiths in Barcelona, Spain. Harrod pastored the work his father-in-law started in Barcelona and was personally involved in starting a new daughter work. When they return to Spain, the Harrods will establish residence and an office in Barcelona and continue language and cultural studies. He will serve as a member of the field fellowship of Portugal and Spain, promote evangelism, plant churches, and teach in the Bible school. Should he remain in Barcelona, he will help to open the country of Andorra for the United Pentecostal Church International.
